Netherlands-based South African musician EGGSTA has released the acoustic version and visuals to her single ‘Flame’.
The video was filmed in the cold, wintery Troodos Mountains during her regular visits to Cyprus.
The song is available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms, and is off her upcoming EP Back Home, which is set for release sometime this year.
EGGSTA says ‘Flame’ is a song about love that burns deep inside when people fall for someone. “It’s that type of feeling when every time you see that person, a piece of your heart lights up and you can’t help but feel warm when you’re around them. Each and every thought makes you burn brighter,” the singer said.
Last year saw the emerging artist gain traction with the release of her debut single ‘BAE’ featuring Lee Cole. The song climbed to the top 40 charts on East Coast Radio to reach No 6.
“This year I am extremely excited to share all my new music and can’t wait to be back on stage in a venue near you,” EGGSTA said.
Commenting on her upcoming EP album, EGGSTA’s team said the album is a nostalgic expression of how she felt about being back home in South Africa.
