The Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) Foundation will host the Arts and Business Seminar at SAMRO Place in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 22 February.
The event, which will be held in the SAMRO Auditorium from 2pm to 4.30pm, will run under the theme, How to Get the Most out of Your Music.
The seminar seeks to address the following objectives:
- Create a platform to discuss entrepreneurship, social impact through art and the entertainment industry.
- Give the youth an opportunity for authentic interactions with national and international industry professionals.
- Teach young artists creative approaches to entrepreneurship and social responsibility.
“The Arts Business Seminar is a masterclass and panel discussion centred on the South African and international entertainment industries,” the SAMRO Foundation said.
“The event is an initiative aimed at young creatives, spearheaded by a collaboration between Konshens the MC, 1990 Records and the SAMRO Foundation.”
This is a free event and no RSVP is required but seating is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
