SAMRO launches online appointment booking for members

The system, the Collective Management Organisation (CMO) said, allows members to schedule both online and in-person consultations seamlessly. Effective immediately, walk-in consultations will no longer be accommodated. Instead, members—whether in South Africa or abroad—must book appointments in advance using the new online system. This ensures a streamlined experience, reducing wait times and improving overall service delivery.

“SAMRO is confident that this new system will enhance the overall member experience, allowing artists to focus on their music while receiving efficient and timely support,” SAMRO said.

The system also provides flexible scheduling options with a range of appointment slots to enhance accessibility. Once an appointment is booked, members receive personalised support for their music rights and royalty inquiries. To help them stay on track, the system sends appointment confirmations and reminders, ensuring they remain informed at every step.
