Sierra Leonean duo Double Trouble releases debut single

Currently based in the Gambia, Double Trouble was formed by two artists namely Ibrahim Ceesay alias Max and Kebba Jafuneh alias Kebz. ‘Bagass’ (which means luggage) was recorded at Massive Music and mixed and mastered by Sunland Music.

Max said during a press conference that the single is about the beauty of the Gambian woman and African women at large.

“It portrays the beautiful curves of an African woman to the world,” he explained, adding that, “We have been researching music for so long and now we feel that this is the right time for us to appear in the Gambia music scene."

Lui Mendy, Double Trouble’s manager said: “We are introducing ‘Double Trouble’ to Gambian music and the world at large. They are two hardworking and talented artists in terms of their lyric contents.

“We are urging Gambians to expect more from these young artists in terms of releasing songs and stage performances.”

Yusuf Tula, Double Trouble promotional manager said the focus isn’t just the Gambian music scene but international markets including Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana Europe and the US. “We are urging Gambians to expect quality music from us in our quest to entertain and educate the world,” he said.
