SoundCloud has debuted six new assistive AI tools for artists at all levels.
According to the company, which boasts 76 million registered users and 175 million monthly listeners, the integrations are geared towards “democratising music creation, making it easier for millions of creators worldwide to express their creativity.”
They include Tuney for remixing and track creation, Tuttii for AI-driven remixing of licensed music, AlBeatz for custom beat-making, TwoShot for collaborative sample creation, Starmony for fan-driven music by singers and rappers, and ACE Studio for generating AI vocals from MIDI and lyrics.
“Creating music traditionally required access to specialised tools, training, and resources. But with these new AI-powered integrations, our newest AI tools give artists and fans alike the resources to remix, edit, and produce music without a studio or extensive experience,” a statement explains.
As part of its commitment to responsible AI innovation, the company has teamed up with Audible Magic and Pex, granting all AI partners access to content identification tools that ensure rights holders are credited and compensated appropriately. SoundCloud has also signed on to AI For Music’s “Principles for Music Creation with AI.”
“SoundCloud is paving the way for a future where AI unlocks creative potential and makes music creation accessible to millions, while upholding responsible and ethical practices,” SoundCloud CEO Eliah Seton said. “We’re proud to be the platform that supports creators at every level, fuels experimentation and empowers fandom.”
The new tools complement SoundCloud’s existing AI integrations, including Fadr, Soundful, and Voice-Swap. These integrations allow artists to easily share their creations with SoundCloud through a built-in “Upload to SoundCloud” option within each tool.
Songs uploaded directly to SoundCloud will be automatically tagged to show the tool used and artists can edit their newly uploaded tracks directly from their SoundCloud profile page.
Next Pro creators can also access exclusive discounts and free trials for all nine of our partner tools via SoundCloud for Artists (SC4A).
