South Sudan Music Awards 2021: All the nominees

Launched in 2019, the annual event celebrates South Sudanese singers, dancers, DJs, producers and comedians in South Sudan and the diaspora.

"We are glad to have made it to November 2021 and experienced the growth of South Sudanese music despite the global pandemic, which greatly affected the artists," SSMA brand ambassador Moses Yasin told Music In Africa. "Entries were submitted for works published between November 2020 and October 2021. “We wish to assure everyone of our transparency in the whole process and request the members of the public to exercise their vote with total confidence."

Voting will open on 17 November at midnight and can be done via the SSMAs voting portal here.
