Tipify brings SXSW ‘B-Side Sessions’ live series to Nashville after debut
14 May 2026 - 12:59
Tipify will host its B-Side Sessions live music series at Vinyl Tap Room in Nashville on 4 June 2026, following its debut at SXSW earlier this year, with further events expected to roll out in additional cities.
The series is designed as an intimate performance format centred on vinyl culture and stripped-back live sets, featuring a mix of emerging and established artists. It aims to prioritise small-scale performances and direct engagement over high-production stage shows.
Tipify founder and chief executive Dan Carucci said the decision to bring the series to Nashville followed its launch in Austin, Texas, during SXSW.
“We launched B-Side at SXSW because that's where the industry shows up,” Carucci said. “We're now bringing B-Side to Nashville because it’s a natural evolution to be where the songwriters are. At its core, this is about sparking an organic revolution, surrounded by vinyl decades in the making, where artists and their fans show up to support each other.”
The Nashville edition will take place at Vinyl Tap Room, a venue in East Nashville known for its vinyl-focused music programming and intimate live performances. The event is expected to feature a yet-to-be-announced lineup and will offer audiences a close-up view of live, stripped-down performances.
According to Tipify, the B-Side Sessions concept is intended to foster closer connections between artists and audiences, as well as encourage collaboration within the independent music community.
Tipify operates as an artist-focused patronage platform aimed at supporting independent musicians through direct fan contributions and digital tools designed to generate revenue streams outside traditional industry structures.
The company said the initiative forms part of its broader efforts to expand artist discovery and fan engagement through live experiences and community-driven support models.
