Tycoon releases ‘Art of Love III’ ft. Kabza De Small, Kelvin Momo

The 11-track album brings together a line-up of collaborators that also includes Mashudu, Nvcho, De Rose, Rory Diamondz, Mkeyz, Soulful Disciple, Springle, Djy Vino and Dinky Kunene.

Art of Love III centres on themes of love and relationships while blending Tycoon’s signature production style with the melodic and rhythmic elements associated with contemporary amapiano.

The album’s lead track, ‘Menemene’, features MDU aka TRP, Babalwa M and Nvcho. The song combines melodic arrangements, layered percussion and amapiano’s characteristic log drum, with vocal performances from Babalwa M and Nvcho.

Throughout the project, Tycoon incorporates atmospheric instrumentation, soulful vocals and dancefloor-oriented rhythms across the album’s 11 tracks.

The release follows Tycoon’s previous contributions to the amapiano genre and continues his collaborative approach to music-making, bringing together established artists and vocalists from across the South African music scene.
