Uncle Waffles announces joint EP 4 Da Streets with Royal Musiq
04 May 2026 - 13:06
Multi-platinum DJ and producer Uncle Waffles has announced a new EP titled 4 Da Streets, scheduled for release on 8 May 2026 via Encore Recordings.
The project is a collaborative release with Royal Musiq, a frequent creative partner who has previously worked with Uncle Waffles on tracks including ‘Zenzele’, ‘Wadibusa’ and ‘Baphi’. The forthcoming EP marks their first joint project.
4 Da Streets follows Uncle Waffles’ debut EP, 4 Da Ho’s, and arrives after a period of increased international visibility for the artist. In recent years, she has become one of the most prominent figures associated with amapiano, a South African genre that has gained global traction.
The announcement comes shortly after the release of her single Taste and a series of international performances across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe. She is also scheduled to appear as a guest on Kaytranada’s European tour in June 2026.
The EP will be available on major streaming platforms upon release.
