South Africa-based Nigerian rapper Pablo Lee has released his latest single ‘Little (Told My Momma)’ featuring DaviesThePreacher. The track is accompanied by a music video.
The song is available on all major streaming platforms and is a follow-up to his single ‘Faka Umoya (Hustle)’ featuring Bizizi and Jerry Shuffer. ‘Little (Told My Momma)’ was co-written by Pablo Lee and DaviesThePreacher and produced by Platinum League productions.
Recorded in two hours, the single was inspired by the artist’s life experience, reflecting on events while he was in Cape Town. Pablo Lee takes the listener through his journey as an emerging rapper, being in a home studio working towards his dreams and reassuring his mother that he’s doing okay.
To deliver the visuals, the rapper teamed up with music video director Kyle White. It was filmed on the hills of Houghton to “encapsulate the essence of success”. Kyle White has worked with a number of top artists including Nasty C, Akon, Master KG and David Guetta.
