Wizkid and Tems win at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2023

First presented in 2014, the awards spotlight and celebrate outstanding musical feats across various musical genres.

The ‘Essence’ collaborators, who won separate accolades at the 2023 NAACP Image Awards last month, shared the award for Best Afrobeats Artist.

Tems also scooped the award for Best Hip Hop Song of the Year for her contributions to American rapper Future’s ‘Wait For U’. The song also earned Tems a win in the Favourite Hip Hop Song category at the 2022 BET Awards.

Meanwhile, US singer Taylor Swift took home the coveted Song of the Year Award, as well as the Innovator Award. Fellow singer Doja Cat emerged as the Most Played Artist of the Year.
