Ice Prince
Bio
Ice Prince (real name Panshak Henry Zamani) was born in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria but grew up in Jos, Plateau State. In 1998, he began writing and performing rap songs at his school and recorded some studio sessions in 2001.
In 2002, he and a few friends formed a short-lived group, called the "Ecomog Squad". In 2004, he collaborated with M.I, Jesse Jagz, Ruby, Lindsey, Eve, Taz, to form the "Loopy Crew". He got his big break in 2010, when he was signed by Chocolate City Records and released his debut album 'Everybody loves Ice Prince'. It had the hit 'Oleku'. He went on to collaborate with several of Nigeria's biggest names in rap and R&B.
In 2012, he released his second album 'The Fire of Zamani', featuring the hit track 'Aboki'. He has won several awards including the City People, Ghana Music Awards, Channel O and BET awards in several categories including Best International Act, Best Newcomer and Best Rap Artiste.
In 2015, he released the Trash Can EP for free online. He launched his own label, SuperCoolCats, in May 2016. Same year, on 28 October, he released his third studio album, 'Jos to the World'.
