Cobhams Asuquo

Cobhams Asuquo, born blind, first pursued a career as a lawyer and later as a pianist. He then went into sound engineering and production, developing an intensely complex, but delightful range of styles based on genres ranging from classical music to R&B and hip-hop.

Asuquo produced and engineered the album of one of Africa's most famous contemporary acts Asa. He has also worked with Darey Art Alade, Bez, Tarri and many others. He produced the sound track for the globally acclaimed movie "Half of a Yellow Sun".

In 2017, he announced the release of his debut album, 'For You'.
