Bio
AJ, commonly known as Arthur-Junior is a house music DJ, composer and producer from Midrand, South Africa.
His fusion of bright euphoric sounds with an ambient atmosphere and African drums is what he strives for when he is in the studio.
His latest release AFROKAN is a five-track EP released by the UK based record label, Aluku Records which features favourites such as Amavila (feat. Eltonnick & Lizwi) and Mermaids of Karoo (feat. Thapelo Lephoto). AJ has a knack for upcoming and undergrounded vocal talent to feature in his songs as opposed to featuring popular and known vocalists, in his own words, “new talent is fresh, keen to explore and raw”.
AJ has performed around the world in multiple countries and has a vision to take the South African house music sound further around the world.
