Career

Samuel Mwangi, known by his stage name as Brakanah 44, is a rapper hailing from Kenya, and Social media influencer. He is presently one of the most streamed SoundCloud artist in East Africa. A native of Mombasa, Brakanah became active on social media in the early to mid-2015.

He had over 550 thousand followers on Instagram before it was brought down, due to unknown reasons. But currently he has a new account with over 20 thousand followers on Instagram. On Facebook his earlier page was hacked with 12 thousand followers, But the current page that he is running has over 15 thousand followers. He officially started dropping music along side his friends King paraah and Halle Trn, under the name Trn Gang and even won there first music award (Xtreem Awards)in 2019. But from the start 2021 they Started releasing solo projects having either of them on a project just for backup vocals or adlibs. And in the year 2022 Brakanah joined SoundCloud and dropped His first project and his reception was quite good because he mainly targeted his audience on Instagram who streamed the project (peek a boo love) and currently during the time of this publication the song has 1,064 thousand streams. His next release(Kobe Bryant) was going to be a great milestone pusher for his career as it earned over 26 thousand streams with its first month and the Next project John wick (Kill) became his biggest hit ever released earning over 20 thousand with the second week of its release although it had been brought down for 9 days By Soundcloud due to wrong report accusations about it being a copyright from an account posing to be Brakanah 44.

During a recent live stream rapper Brakanah 44 cleared the air that he had been doing numbers because he was under a label, but during the stream Brakanah stated that he was independent and he had revealed that some independent labels have tried to reach him but they was deal or agreement on anything.

Personal Life

His personal life is under the shade as he hardly displays anything from his daily life on social media. Brakanah 44 had once answered a Q&A on Instagram asking about his relationship status and the answer was that he is single and trying to focus more on his studies and music career.
