Claudio Rabe, a singer-songwriter and performer, saw his professional path take a decisive turn when he chose to leave his career as a dancer to fully dedicate himself to music. Feeling that dance alone could not fully express the depth of his artistic nature, he found in music a way to transcend his art.

A year later, he was selected to perform at the Inouïs du Printemps de Bourges 2024, as well as at Sakifo and IOMMA. Claudio has since been riding a wave of creativity, releasing EPs and singles with bubbling energy. Through his music, he takes audiences on a deeply intimate journey, blending meditative states, trance, storytelling, and life lessons inspired by his home country, Madagascar.

Claudio recently completed a tour in Australia to present his new EP, Mosary (meaning “hunger” in Malagasy). After being programmed at the prestigious Woodford Folk Festival in Brisbane, he wrapped up the tour with a sold-out show at the bar It’s Still A Secret, which sold out in just three days. The performance led him to secure both a label and a manager in Australia. His upcoming album Mosary Deluxe, set for release in March 2026, will be recorded on the Sunshine Coast.

His ethno-rock style fuses the trance-like pulse of ternary rhythms like salegy, with guitar riffs and electronic sounds, brought to life by four spirited musicians who accompany him.

Mosary reveals the artist’s personality through a journey blending joy, poetry, and energy.

His influences span traditional Malagasy sounds, the beats and sharp lyricism of rap, and the legacy of artists such as the Wu-Tang Clan, whom he listened to during his teenage years.

His writing reflects the neighborhood life of his homeland, which nourished both his rebellious spirit and poetic voice.

Claudio’s live performances are known for their overflowing energy and their ability to electrify a crowd. A fusion of Fela Kuti and James Brown, his shows are fronted by a passionate artist who dances with true grace and sings with fierce intensity. His bandmates bring their own talents to the stage, contributing to a festive and immersive experience. Audiences never leave his performances unchanged. Claudio Rabe, auteur, compositeur et interprète, voit sa destinée professionnelle prendre un tournant lorsqu'il décide de quitter sa carrière de danseur pour se consacrer pleinement à la musique. Sentant que la danse ne suffisait pas à exprimer toute la profondeur de sa nature artistique, il trouve dans la musique un moyen de transcender son art.
