Black Heidi
Bio
Black Heidi is a South African singer and songwriter born in the North West, Mafikeng. She's been writing songs since she was 10 years and started performing in 2020 after learning to play the ukulele to accompany herself on stage. The variety in her music makes it tricky to categorize but it has been described as rock-adjacent, pop-grunge and soft indie punk by the people who have seen her shows.
She performs solo, with an extra instrumentalist or with a full band including guitar, bass and drums.
