Bio

Seyi Shay (born Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua on 21 December 1985) is a Nigerian-based singer who was born in the UK to Nigerian parents. She started performing at the age of six.

She was signed in 2005 by the legendary George Martin, former producer of the Beatles and under his label wrote and produced three major songs for Konami, the Japanese video game manufacturer.

A year later, she performed as part of a girl band, Boadicea, managed by Ron Tom, former manager of the Sugarbabes and All Saints.
