Bio
Kizz Daniel (formerly Kiss Daniel) is a young Nigerian singer famous for the song ‘Woju’ (2014). Born Anidugbe Oluwatobiloba Daniel in Ogun state, South-west Nigeria, Kiss Daniel earned a degree in Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. Having shown interest in music from a young age, he combined his academic pursuits with musical ones. He lists Wande Coal, 2face Idibia, 9ice as influences.
Subsequent to his graduation from the university, Kiss Daniel was signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment where he has remained. His first single, a dance tune called ‘Shoye’ (2014), received a warm if minor reception. His second, ‘Woju’ (2014), became a huge hit in Nigeria and spent six weeks atop the MTV Base Official Naija Top Ten. The song spent a further five weeks on the charts.
He released ‘Laye’, a follow-up to ‘Woju’,in early 2015. Although the song has been criticised for sounding like his hit ‘Woju,’ it has received significant airplay.
