Bryson Tiller earns 18 new RISA certifications in SA

The latest certifications were announced shortly after Tiller’s visit to South Africa during the Durban July weekend, where he made several public appearances. The certifications include 16 singles and two albums, further highlighting South Africa as one of Tiller's strongest international markets.

Among the newly certified releases, Tiller’s 2015 debut album TRAPSOUL has been awarded Platinum status, while his 2020 album A N N I V E R S A R Y has achieved Gold certification.

Several of his singles also reached new certification milestones. ‘Don’t’ and ‘Exchange ‘received Multi-Platinum certifications, while ‘Right My Wrongs’ was certified Double Platinum. Other certified singles include ‘Always Forever’, ‘Been That Way’, ‘Blame’, ‘Keep Doing What You’re Doing’, ‘Let Em Know’, ‘Next to You’, ‘Outta Time’, ‘Rambo’, ‘Run Me Dry’, ‘Sorrows’, ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ and ‘What She Wants’.

“South Africa has always shown incredible love for Bryson and his music,” Sony Music Entertainment Africa commercial director Refiloe Ramogase said. “These certifications are a reflection of that continued support and the lasting impact his catalogue has had across generations of listeners. Seeing that love extend beyond streaming into real cultural moments, like his recent visit to Durban July, makes this achievement even more meaningful.”

Released in 2015, TRAPSOUL established Tiller as one of the leading voices in contemporary R&B, blending melodic vocals with hip hop influences. The album includes Don't and Exchange, two of his most commercially successful tracks.
