Music2Deal unveils Music People Map feature

Music2Deal was founded by German industry executive Mario Christiani and boasts more than 17 000 verified members from over 30 countries.

According to the company, the “game-changing” new update forms part of an ongoing dedication to enhancing user experience and connectivity features.

To ensure visibility on the Music People Map and facilitate connections with other members, users are encouraged to update their contact information.

Last year, Music2Deal introduced other features including Contact Settings, enabling Premium members to control who can contact them based on business type, and the Business Friend Filter, allowing members to categorise their business contacts by industry type.

Speaking to Music in Africa around the same time, Music2Deal’s African representative, Diana Hopeson, stressed the importance of social media for networking today. She also highlighted the potential of African creativity beyond mineral resources, advocating for collaborations that recognise and contribute to the global art industry.

Since its launch, Music2Deal has received acclaim from industry professionals worldwide, including CM3 Media Group’s Anita Wilson-Pringle, known for her work with Def Jam, RCA, Reebok and SESAC, industry consultant Jack Cypher, with experience at INgrooves, Cézame Music Agency, Live Nation Studios, and Warner, and Bob Dee, a recording artist with Beg Borrow & Steel on RCA Records.
