Tamia adds second Cape Town show after tickets sell out

Organisers announced that an additional performance will take place on 5 August 2026 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, one day before the previously scheduled Cape Town concert on 6 August.

The tour will also include performances in KwaZulu-Natal on 7 August and Gauteng on 10 August as part of a Women's Month concert series.

The decision to add another Cape Town date follows strong demand from fans, with tickets for the initial show selling out shortly after going on sale.

Tamia’s return to South Africa marks her latest engagement with a market where she has maintained a loyal following throughout her career. The singer is known for R&B hits including ‘Officially Missing You’, ‘So Into You’, ‘Stranger in My House’ and ‘Into You’.

Speaking about the tour, Tamia thanked South African fans for their continued support and said she looked forward to performing for audiences across the country.

The tour is being promoted by Remoakantse Holdings as part of a broader programme celebrating women through music and live entertainment during Women's Month.

Discovered by legendary producer Quincy Jones in the 1990s, Tamia has built a career spanning more than three decades. She has earned multiple Grammy nominations, released several platinum-selling projects and collaborated with artists including Eric Benét, Fabolous and Babyface.

The addition of a second Cape Town performance reflects sustained demand for international R&B acts in South Africa and extends Tamia's August tour schedule in the country.
