Tiwa Savage releases amapiano remix for Dangerous Love

The Dangerous Love amapiano remix features South Africa-renowned DJ Ganyani and De Mogul. “It was great working on the song, Tiwa is a very talented vocalist,” DJ Ganyani said. A fan commented on Twitter: “Tiwa Savage is a beast. This Amapiano version is so hard. You see that ‘I'm deep, I'm deep in love with you’ it makes my head scatter!”

Tiwa joins a number of other Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy and Wizkid, who both collaborated with SA producers DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small recently. The new sound first gained prominence in the country’s capital city Pretoria and has now attracted attention from many African musicians. With the new amapiano remixes the pop diva gives her fans a fitting song for SA's growing amapaino sensation.

Additionally, the Nigerian musician simultaneously dropped a house remix of the original single titled Born in Soweto, which is produced by SA Afro-house musician De Mthuda.

Last week, Savage released the visuals to the ‘Dangerous Love’, a simplistic video that embodies the essence of the song. The single narrates a tale of emotional gambling in relationships. The video has garnered more than 1 million view on YouTube. The original song was produced by Nigerian producer Cracker Mallo and is taken off her upcoming fourth album Celia.
