Call for registrations: WOMEX 2020
Registrations are now open for the 2020 edition of the World Music Expo (WOMEX), which takes place in Budapest, Hungary, from 21 to 25 October.
Music professionals can register as delegates or book a stand to exhibit at the event in Budapest or via the virtualWOMEX platform.
By registering now, participants will take advantage of the lowest rates. The smart rate application deadline is 10 July 2020.
Registrations are available as a five-day package and provide access to the full WOMEX programme, including:
- The trade fair.
- Conferences.
- Showcase festival.
- Film screenings.
- Opening and award ceremony.
- A free one-year membership to virtualWOMEX.
Delegates should note:
- The trade fair features exhibitors from a broad cross-section of countries and musical sectors.
- Hosting a stand gives one a platform to present their business, music or artists directly to key members of the international music community – a stand is the best way to get maximum visibility in the trade fair.
- Officially selected WOMEX conference speakers and WOMEX showcase artists will receive free registration.
- When two people from the same company register at the full price, every person who registers as part of that same company after that gets a discounted rate.
- WOMEX offers a special student price of €150 + 27% VAT subject to capacity.
- Journalistic media professionals receive a reduced rate subject to approval.
