Teargas

The South African trio Teargas includes Ntokozo "K.O." Mdlui and brothers Ezee "Ma-E" Hanabe and Bantu "Ntukza" Hanabe. They arrived into the music industry in 2006 with their debut album “K'Shubile K'Bovu.” They have since released two more albums, 2009’s album “Dark and Blue” and 2012’s “Numba Numba”. They were nominated for a BET award for Best International Act: African in 2010, and have won two consecutive SAMA awards for Best Rap Album. When not releasing their own music, Teargas are busy grooming artists on their Cashtime Entertainment imprint.
