Open call: World Summit on Arts and Culture 2025 in South Korea

The summit seeks to bring together key leaders and decision-makers from the arts and cultural ecosystem and beyond to discuss the theme Charting the Future of Arts and Culture. It will mark a significant milestone leading up to the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development – MONDIACULT 2025 – and efforts to ensure culture finds a place as a standalone goal in the post-2030 agenda for sustainable development.

The conference will see exchanges and debates on how to harness the knowledge systems needed to future proof the cultural and creative sectors (CCS) and roadmap, with a focus on current and projected digital and technological realities. It will help co-create new pathways to advance arts and culture and affirm a collective position seeking to positively influence the sustainable agenda for the global community, and communities within local contexts.

The World Summit is a highly participatory networking platform that fosters exchange between policymakers and representatives from government, cultural and related sectors and civil society, which is open to IFACCA members and the wider international community.

“All delegates, programme participants and guests must register in advance to attend the World Summit,” a statement reads. “Before proceeding to register, we strongly encourage you to read all the available information. Early booking is recommended as places are limited.”
