Femi Temowo, one of Nigeria's finest international Jazz exports, returns to London's Ronnie Scott's, for a four night series of performance's.
Femi Temowo and his quartet shall be performing on the weekend's of 6th/7th and 20th/21st February 2015 respectively, at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, one of Europe's venerable and much beloved Jazz Institution's, with a history spanning 55 years. The performance's are part of the Club's late, late show series and its website describes Temowo, as its most popular draw's.
Temowo, who first moved to the United Kingdom in 1986 with his father, started performing at the age of 17, and after studies at the Leeds College of Music and Middlesex University, he built an impressive career, with performance's and collaborations with artistes as diverse as, Wynton Marsalis, Andrea Bocelli, Amy Winehouse, Soweto Kinch, George Benson and many more. A man quite fittingly described by Time Out Magazine, as "one of Europe's finest Guitarists", Temowo has continued to see his star on ascent, from early days performing at small venues in London, alongside another phenomenal Africian talent, Anglo-Zimbabwean powerhouse, Shingai Shoniwa of British Rock superstars, Noisettes.
The concert series promises to be another feather in the cap of an incredibly dedicated and talented African Ambassador. More details about the performance's can be found via this link Femi Temowo at Ronnie Scott's.
