Tsoness
Bio
Tsoness (born Kgomotso Mamorena Matjele) is a singer, songwriter and poet from South Africa.
Musically, Tsoness has been described as a soulful charismatic singer who delivers with light but emotional husky undertones. She sings mostly in a mix of seTswana and English, mixing the ethnic with the modern. She experiments with a variety of sounds and has a strong storytelling element that takes you from one point to another.
Her performances are versatile enough to fit almost any occasion as she tends to have several style versions of each song. Most of the subjects covered in her song are about love, self-love, women specific issues and the celebration of Africa (Tswana) nuances. She writes her own lyrics and can be classified as a Soprano.
