16 Jul 2026 - 11:37
South African DJ and producer Chymamusique has teamed up with singer and actress Chantal Stanfield to release a new Deep House single, ‘Love Worth Fighting For’.
Chymamusique.
The track was co-produced by musician and producer RJ Benjamin and explores themes of enduring love, reflecting on relationships that have withstood the test of time.
The collaboration brings together three established figures in South Africa’s music industry. Chymamusique is known for his work in the Deep House genre and has collaborated with a range of vocalists over the course of his career. Stanfield, who has spent more than two decades in the entertainment industry, is recognised both for her music career and her role as Natasha Malgas in the SABC 2 television drama Paradys.
According to the artists, the song combines Stanfield’s vocals with Chymamusique’s Deep House production, while RJ Benjamin oversaw the co-production of the release.
The collaboration originated during the COVID-19 lockdown, when Chymamusique first shared the instrumental with Stanfield, with RJ Benjamin later contributing to the production process.
The release coincides with career milestones for both lead artists, with Stanfield marking 21 years in the entertainment industry and Chymamusique celebrating 16 years as a recording artist and producer.
