Zim: 2019 Permican Gospel Awards announce nominees

The awards, which are in their fourth edition, are organised by local religious leaders Emmanuel and Ruth Makandiwa. The event was started in 2016 and seeks to honour local gospel musicians.

Janet Mayowa is nominated in the Song of the Year, Album of The Year, Video of The Year, Best Female Artist, Best Songwriter and Best Collaboration categories.

Mambo Dhuterere is nominated in the Song of the Year, Best Newcomer, Best Traditional, Best Songwriter and Best Collaboration categories.

Other nominees in different categories are Kuda Mutsvene, Joyfull Praise Choir, Bethany Pasinawako, Minister Michael Mahendere, Vabati Vajehovah and Pastor G.

Fans can vote in the Song of The Year, Best Male Artist and Best Female Artist categories. To vote, send an SMS or WhatsApp message to +263 719 345 728 in this format: category followed by artist name and song/video title. e.g. Song of the Year: (name of artist) (song/video title).

Fans can vote as many times as they wish. The rest of the award categories will be adjudicated by a panel of judges.
