Ashira

Born in 1998, in South Africa, Ashira began singing in church at the age of 12. Her parents launched their ministry in 2010, which marked the start of her own ministry, worship. 


Ashira’s debut project ‘REIGN’ is a work of love and experimentation for her genre of gospel in South Africa. Exploring house tunes and traditional rhythms, ‘REIGN’ expresses the colours of Ashira’s soul and expresses a message of peace and assurance that we are never alone. 


The music video for the track ‘MMELI’ off the same release, sees Ashira pouring off her creativity and passion for visual art, vintage themes and monochromatic looks. From flowers and lights in the sky to grand backdrops, Ashira took care in the visual representation of a song she so loved making to praise her Lord and Saviour.
