Blossom

Blossom (full name Ruusa Ndapewa Munalye) was born and raised in Onelago, Namibia. She began playing in the open spaces of Ovamboland called ‘Iishana’ while in her teens. The rich traditional and cultural lifestyle of Ovamboland played a major role in nurturing her career as a musician. This exposure prompted her to learn how to play the guitar after high school. She made her first appearances at The Warehouse Theatre.

In September 2012, she released a single called ‘Mekolo Lyoye’. This was followed by the launch of a debut 12-track album called 'KomuthimaGwomeya' in November. In October 2013, she released a single called ‘Indikupapatele’, an inspirational song she wrote after losing a close friend.

She has performed in Paris at the commemoration of World Music Day and concluded her European tour in Finland, where she performed at a wedding. She is signed to Great Wings Promotions and is managed by Hella Investments.
