For cultural and creative practitioners and organisations operating in southern Africa, access to funding remains a major challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic has also had a massive impact on government policy, spending and the economy in general, and has seen spending on culture being moved further down the list of priorities. Further, the cultural and creative industries repeatedly cite four main areas where investment is needed for growth, which are increased visibility, mobility including access to new markets, finance and support structures.

Once the instruments kick in, the track shifts into the Afropop/afrobeat atmosphere with the dynamic and textured arrangement. This upbeat and highly love danceable track brings the listener intense vibes.

The lyrics in the song “Come Over” from both Angel Dweh and Faithvonic bring the infectious portrays of the song, the overall musicality of ‘Come Over’ excels on its impressive use of what Jon Caramanica calls “space.” In between melodies, Angel producers and his sound engineers appropriately explore and broaden the range of the melody.

Angel Dweh singing the Liberian word “Jue” is the most beautiful line to here from a rising artist who has live in the United States most of his life, he sings it so stunning that others outside of Liberia will fully understand the concept of the song and the beauty of Liberia English.
