Smoking Mayhem

BIO

Smoking Mayhem is a four-piece rock band from South Africa .

It was founded by Derek Kruger and Ryno Pretorius in 2014. The group later joined forces with Desmond Botha and Bruce Erasmus who joined to give the band a full and more complete sound and also brought his creative songwriting ability to the band. Ryno left two years after he joined the band and was replaced by Braam Van Wyk.

With a dominant driving rhythm, razor sharp lead and the distinctive vocal melody, Smoking Mayhem is a good hard rocking outfit known for captivating the audience throughout their performance. The band supports fund raisers, toy runs and biker events and music festivals.

Smoking Mayhem has already established itself at various venues across South Africa and have had the privilege of being invited to perform at some of the following events:
