The Music In Africa Foundation (MIAF) is proud of its partnership with the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) as a Strategic Implementing Partner (SIP) for its Social Employment Fund (SEF). Through this collaboration, MIAF is running a national programme that is creating jobs, addressing skills gaps, and strengthening South Africa's creative industries — in line with the SEF's overarching goal to generate work for the common good and build community value through employment, social contribution, and inclusive economic participation. Operating under the banner NEFCISA (National Employment Facility for Creative Industries in South Africa), the initiative is recruiting and training participants, matching them with host organisations, and has already placed 1 500 workers across the country — surpassing its original target of 1 000. NEFCISA is delivered through a network of 20 host organisations spanning five provinces, who are actively hosting participants and contributing to work for the common good across South Africa's creative and cultural industries. Key Objectives: Support employment and entrepreneurship in the creative industries. Offer skills development and training programmes. Foster partnerships between public and private creative sectors. Promote South African creativity at both provincial and national levels Foster community development through social contribution.

For cultural and creative practitioners and organisations operating in southern Africa, access to funding remains a major challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic has also had a massive impact on government policy, spending and the economy in general, and has seen spending on culture being moved further down the list of priorities. Further, the cultural and creative industries repeatedly cite four main areas where investment is needed for growth, which are increased visibility, mobility including access to new markets, finance and support structures.

Her parents describe her first cry as a melody sang by an angel from the heavens. The airy and deep voiced songstress comes from a musical family, where she even founded a gospel vocal trio with her two sisters at an age where some found dolls to be the only form of entertainment a young girl knew. Music has been truly her way of expression of her heart and world view.

In 2016 she started getting recognition for her amazing signwriting skills and has worked with a lot of music producers as both a vocalist, songwriter and arranger and f it has been nothing but an ascending ride for the young and gifted vocalist. In 2017 her talent was picked up by one of the founders of Tshwane Gospel Choir where she honed her skill of creating big and beautiful harmonies, that she is popularly known for today. She had her song titled ‘Yini Na’ reach number one on the number one South African youth station, Yfm’s Hot 99 chart with DJ Candii in the same year. Her other songs like ‘Slala Amalunde’ made airwaves on radio stations like Jozi FM, Capricon, Kasi FM among many others.
After a lot of exploration and experimenting with a lot of sounds, the songstress finally put her feet firm in a fusion of sounds rooted in her strong soul and RnB music background, fused with Afro Beat, traditional South African Kwaito and House music to work on her first solo album. Teaming up with her long time producers, Tee-Jay , Elastic and the house music duo to produce her first complete album that she will be realising soon in 2019.
