Elvis Gangiah, also known as DJE, is a South African DJ, producer, and remixer based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. With roots in the late 1980s club scene, he has been an active part of South Africa’s dance music culture for over three decades.

Renowned for his versatility, DJE’s sound spans house, Afro-house, classic club music, and contemporary electronic styles, with a distinctive ability to bridge African rhythms with global dance influences. He is the only South African DJ to have officially remixed for Bollywood, bringing South African house sensibilities into the Indian film and music space.

Alongside his DJ career, he is the manager and lead engineer of one of South Africa’s premier professional recording studios at The Playhouse Company, where he works closely with emerging and established artists across genres. His work reflects a strong commitment to musical excellence, cultural exchange, and the development of African music on both local and international platforms.
