The AFRIMA Kreative Academy (TAKA) is a major new pan-African initiative launched by the All Africa Music Awards to reshape the continent's creative sector through education and skills development. Themed "Learn and Prosper," the ambitious program aims to empower 1.2 million young Africans between the ages of 18 and 35 over five years, with a special focus on underserved and vulnerable communities. Starting in 2025, TAKA will operate three four-month training cycles annually, offering world-class instruction in key areas of the music ecosystem, including music production, business and entrepreneurship, event technical production, and digital technology .

What sets TAKA apart is its direct connection to the prestigious AFRIMA platform and its practical approach to training. The academy brings together top music producers, successful artists, expert sound engineers, and experienced event professionals from across Africa and the diaspora to serve as trainers, mentors, and potential employers.
