Sasha P is a Nigerian entertainment executive, creative strategist and entrepreneur whose career spans more than two decades across music, fashion, media, film and live entertainment. A multi-award-winning pioneer of Nigeria’s hip-hop movement, she is widely known as the First Lady of African Hip Hop and has built a career across both the stage and the business of entertainment.

Today, Sasha is the Founder and CEO of Purplefire Entertainment, Founder and Convener of the Africa Live Entertainment Conference (ALEC), and Founder of Women in Live Africa (WILA). Her work is focused on building the systems, relationships and infrastructure needed to make African live entertainment more connected, commercially viable and capable of moving talent across borders.

She began her career as an artist before moving behind the scenes, becoming a founding contributor to The Headies and building extensive credits across creative direction, project management, artist coordination and live entertainment. She later expanded into film, serving as Casting Director on the feature film After 30. In 2025, Sasha won the CANEX SME Pitch Prize at the Intra-African Trade Fair in Algiers for her vision to strengthen Africa’s creative economy through touring and industry infrastructure.

In 2026, she was named a Pollstar Women of Live honoree, recognised among international leaders shaping the future of live entertainment. From launching the Hard Knock Series to developing ALEC and WILA, Sasha has consistently built platforms where talent, knowledge and opportunity can meet. Her work today is less about creating moments and more about building the systems that allow African talent and the businesses around it to thrive.
