DJ Cndo

DJ Cndo (real name Sindisiwe Zungu) was born in 1984 at Mandeni, just 45 minutes outside of Durban next to the great river Uthukela. While studying at Mangosuthu Technikon she developed an interest in DJing and started learning how to mix at Durban’s Finest DJ Academy. As soon as she had mastered mixing, she took to gigging heavily at parties around her campus.

In 2005, the duo Durban’s Finest saw her potential and took to mentoring her further. She then started playing in most Durban’s Finest parties around Durban. In 2006 Gagasi FM was launched in KwaZulu-Natal and Durban’s Finest were given a slot on one of the shows. She became part of these sessions, mixing live on the radio every Friday and developing a strong following in the process. Her 'Finest Lady of House' series has just seen its fifth installment released to critical acclaim.
