THE MASKED DJ (TMSKD DJ) born Michelle Nana Adwoa Agyakomah Yeboah is an ELECTRONIC/AFRICAN DANCE MUSIC DJ based in Accra, Ghana. TMSKD which is pronounced as THE MASKED is one of the few disc jockeys in Ghana breaking the status quo of disc jockeying with her versatile skill setoff introducing and fusing alternative sounds to the Accra music scene often Electronic Dance Genre in her performances. As a young and gifted disc jockey, mostly conservative reflecting a persona of an introvert, she uniquely came up with the masked concept in 2015 to highlight her craft as a dj albeit the curiousness of most audiences to focus on her gender as a female than her eminent craft.
TMSKD created the Eargasm EDM Show, broadcasting over a year on Xlive Africa Radio. As an advocate for talent discovery and creating opportunities for all, she co-hosted and collaborated with a renowned spoken word artiste Kacey Moore on a weekly event, Kona Live Show that has amplified many emerging talents in Accra.
She is also a part of the alternative pool of DJs led by the talented DJ BENJAMIN LE BRAVE of Akwaaba Music. This group of DJs rotate across venues such as the Republic Bar and Grill, FRONT BACK and the ACCRA LOUNGE TRIBE hosted by JAM JAR EVENTS at Carbon Night Club. Again, a part of the DJ collective who play the weekly House music event OUTSIDE THE WAREHOUSE series at the PLOT 7 NIGHT CLUB.
TMSKD is also the owner of the FEMME VIBES BRAND, an all-female event created to recognize Ghanaian Female Disc Jockeys and music talents in relation to INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY and celebration of women annually.
In 2017, she was picked as part of the BRITISH COUNCIL’s; THE LANGUAGE WE SPEAK PROJECT assembling many Creative from Ghana and the UK to collaborate on diverse ideas and projects. Her flourishing career validates her as a guest DJ for the Accra Premium Team, organizers of THE DAY PARTY GH, ACCRA PREMUIM FOOD FESTIVAL and ACCRA PREMUIM MARKET.
TMSKD is an inductee of the MUSIQ ELECTRONIQUE DJ group in 2018. M.E. is an all DJ group run by Michel Eggen (DJ REALITY TJEK) from the Netherlands based in Accra. The group consists of DJs such as FUI (GH), POLLY ESTHER (NL), IR WEASEL (UK), SDK (SA) and SANS GABRIEL (GER). In 2018, TMSKD also played the second edition of the multinational AFROCHELLA FESTIVAL held annually in Ghana. Earlier this year, she shared stage at Nigeria’s biggest beach festival GIDIFEST with Moonchild Sanelly, Joey B, Patoranking, Niniola etc. She adds to her outdoor experience of information sharing, a showcase under the theme “New Technologies In Urban Africa Using Electronic Music” at the Alliance Francaise Institute for a global team of arts institute directors.

2020
TMSKD bagged a feature with Creative Anonymous, a weekly residency with The Alley Bar and Sandbox Beach Club. TMSKD also for her debut production collaborated with Universal Music Nigeria Artiste Miss Tomi Owo. TMSKD was also featured on Seoul Community Radio (Korea) and La Radio Nova (France)

2021
TMSKD started 2021 with a feature from MIXMAG as part of 17 women in Africa shaping and spearheading Electronic Dance Music alongside greats such as JackieQueen, MoonChild Sanelly, DBN GOGO, Niniola etc.She was also featured on BBC RADIO 1’S SOUND SYSTEM with Jeremiah Asiahmah and Weekend Breakfast Show with Remi Burgs and Black Square Radio. She was also part of Immersive Assembly - a digital residency with British Council & York Media . TMSKD is currently a resident at Oroko Radio and Sandbox Beach Club
2021 saw TMSKD make another appearance at AFROCHELLA as the performance dj for American artiste Ari Lennox.She was also featured in another mixmag article featuring 50 other global djs selecting their top songs of 2021.

2022
The Masked Dj was invited to play for OffWhite c/o Virgil Abloh, Spaceship Earth an “Imaginary Experience” that was live streamed on both OffWhite and her account hosted by new social media giant TIKTOK.
