After 16 years of experience in the music industry, Michael Turbot has dedicated his career to discovering, developing, and promoting artists, first at an independent label, and later co-founding a label within Sony Music, contributing to the success of numerous talents.

Passionate about technological innovation, Michael launched the “New Technologies” team at Sony Music France in 2016. In collaboration with Sony’s R&D teams in Tokyo, notably Sony CSL, which he joined in 2019, he has devoted recent years to the creation, development, and promotion of artist-centered and creativity-focused tools powered by AI. This work extends far beyond the traditional music industry, aiming to bring positive solutions in the fields of music, arts, and culture.

Focused on the concept of “AI for Good,” Michael is committed to developing tools that benefit producers, while ensuring fair training of AI models, thus contributing to a more just and inclusive creative ecosystem.
