Abdoul Jabbar (born Abdoul Karim Diallo) was a prominent Guinean reggae musician and singer-songwriter known for his socially conscious lyrics and powerful fusion of reggae rhythms with traditional African sounds. Born in Fria, Guinea, in 1980, he rose to prominence as a vital voice in West African reggae before his untimely death on 5 February 2021.

Abdoul Jabbar began his artistic journey in dance and rap during the 1990s in Conakry before transitioning into a solo reggae artist. He was widely recognized as a "chantre engagé" (a committed singer) who used his music to address heavy themes like politics, justice, freedom, and human rights.
