Anelisa “Annalyzer” Stuurman

BIO

Anelisa “Annalyzer” Stuurman is a South African vocalist, composer, and sonic storyteller whose work blends Afro-Fusion, indigenous Xhosa vocal traditions, and experimental sound art. Rooted in ancestral memory and movement, her performances create immersive spaces where voice, story, and visual projection merge to form living rituals of sound.

Drawing from contemporary African soul, spoken word, and loop-based layering, Annalyzer’s work pushes the boundaries of genre — weaving together elements of electronic-folk, world music, and sonic improvisation. Her voice is both instrument and archived carrying personal and collective histories forward with emotional depth and poetic precision.
