Zimbabwean-born musician Edgar Muzah has called South Africa home for the past 15 years, during which he has established himself as a formidable talent in the music industry. As a music producer and bass player, Muzah has collaborated with some of the finest musicians in South Africa and across Africa. His impressive resume includes working with acclaimed artists such as Ringo Madlingozi, Phila Madlingozi, Nathi Mankayi, Amanda Black, Blaq Diamond, Nomcebo Zikode, Ami Faku, Bye Beneco, Willis Wataffi Afirika, MXO, Sliq Angel, ROOTS 2000, Ntsika Ngxanga, and Putuma Tiso, among others.
Drawing from this wealth of experience, Muzah launched "Edgar Muzah & Friends," a project that brings together various strands of the performing arts. This innovative endeavor earned him the prestigious ESP Afrika Young Legends Competition in 2018, culminating in a performance at the 20th Cape Town International Jazz Festival in March 2019.
