Niki Gud is a boundary-pushing South African singer-songwriter carving out a distinct space in the country’s alternative music landscape. Raised in Mohlakeng on the West Rand, she has emerged as a multi-passionate creative, crafting introspective narratives through a sonic palette that blends indie, soulful R&B and atmospheric lo-fi.

Unbound by conventional genre classifications, Niki Gud pairs her distinctively sultry vocal delivery with fluid production and evocative lyricism to explore themes of identity, love, healing and self-reflection. Her music balances vulnerability with sonic experimentation, offering an intimate expression of her artistic perspective.

In 2025, she reached significant milestones through collaborations with TXTEM on “Be There For You,” Mudanisi on “I See You” and Foygo on WE WRITE WHAT WE LIKE. These collaborations preceded her signing of a global publishing deal with Downtown Music Publishing Africa, marking a significant step in her artistic journey.
