31 May 2024 - 13:04
Musical artists from around the world and from any genre are invited to apply to showcase at FOCUS Wales international festival in Wrexham from 8 to 10 May 2025.
FOCUS Wales 2025 will mark the festival’s 15th year, and will welcome over 22 000 people to the town, building upon 2024’s record attendance across a jam-packed weekend of events.
To be considered by the FOCUS Wales team of selectors for a showcase slot at the festival, applicants should apply here.
Submissions are open to all new music artists of all genres worldwide until:
- First wave applications deadline is 1 September.
- Final applications deadline 1 November.
Important information
- Applicants with a GIGMIT account can apply to play with GIGMIT in a few short steps here.
- If selected, artists will be notified before 1 February 2025. Note: FOCUS Wales receives circa 6 000 artist applications each year, and with only a small core festival team it’s not possible for them to get back to every applicant.
- Applicants who will not hear from FOCUS Wales by 1 February will unlikely have a showcase slot for them on this occasion. However, the organisers will hold their details on file until the dates of the festival in-case a suitable slot does open up.
- FOCUS Wales does not accept applications from cover bands or tribute acts.
All enquiries should be submitted via email at [email protected].
