Open call: Marketing masterclass for female creatives in SA

The masterclass, courtesy of Goethe-Institut’s Cav’ Creative Economies project, is also designed to offer strategies and skills for the visibility of creatives’ businesses and to help them diversify their income and markets.

The masterclass will take place at three different locations as follows:

• Alexandra (eKasiLabs) – 9 and 10 November.
• Lorentzville (Victoria Yards) – 7 and 18. November.
• ekasiLabs (Katlehong) – 23 and 24 November.

This Masterclass is offered at no cost and transport is not covered. The main topics that will be covered include:

• Vision and purpose.
• Leadership.
• Building community.
• Effective brand communication.
• Marketing and sales.
• Digitalisation.

Who can apply?

The masterclass is open to young women (18 to 35 years) who are running young creative businesses or work as creative freelancers, proving work experience of at least one or two years

Interested participants should submit the following documents:

• One paged CV or business profile.
• Short motivation.
• Indication of preferred location and time.
