The Africa Rising Music Conference (ARMC) has announced significant updates for its 2025 edition, including a new venue, new dates, and an expanded line-up of industry leaders.
This year’s conference will take place at Constitution Hill in Johannesburg, South Africa from 22 to 23 May. Organisers said the move aligns with ARMC’s mission to foster meaningful discussions about the future of African music within a space of deep cultural and historical significance.
“As ARMC continues to evolve, this move marks a significant step forward, one that we hope will become a lasting home for the conference,” ARMC founder SJ Nicholson said. “Our focus remains on impact, particularly the economic influence we have on the music industry. Through our conference, we aim to deepen understanding of international markets while up-skilling African professionals with global insights.”
