Dope G

Dope G is one of the most respected rappers in Zambia. He is a founding member of Zone Fam. Dope G has an all-round flow and captures his audience with immaculate story telling, multi-syllable rhyming and his ability to draw in his audience. He has two mixtapes to his name including Underground Operation (2007) and Telling My Story (2010).

In November 2015, Dope G presents ‘My Hair’ produced by Zero Db’s Shom-C. This was his first single his yet to be titled project to be released in 2016. The song features instrumentalist and seasoned musician Jones Kabanga aka Sir Jones. In early 2016 he featured in a new local series called ‘Fever’ that was aired on DStv Zambezi Channel 160. This is his second appearance in acting after a very successful stint in the soap ‘Love Games’. He is one of the lead casts of ‘Fever’ alongside famous actress Mutale who most people can remember from the theatre play ‘Demolishing Democracy’.
