Noxolo Desire

Noxolo Desire Mahlangu, a South African poet hailing from Monsterlus, Limpopo, showcased her writing prowess early in primary school, garnering praise from teachers for her exceptional creativity. Her talent blossomed further in Gauteng, where she immersed herself in poetry platforms like Word n Sound Poetry League in 2019, earning recognition as a top performer. In 2021, she collaborated with Fadzai Nova on a poem for a mural at Es'kia Mphahlele Community Library, a project spotlighted in media outlets like Pretoria Rekord and the Expresso Morning Show. Noxolo's passion for literary arts led her to co-produce "The Poetic Frequency" radio show, a collaboration with Brother Moe’s Poetry and Literature Foundation and Tshwane FM, aimed at promoting writers, poets, and literary movements. Her innovative spirit now drives her to explore new avenues, including merging poetry with various music genres, further amplifying the power of the written and spoken word.
